Bio

Howeida Henri is a seasoned language professional with over two decades of experience in Arabic language education, interpretation, translation, and workforce training. A native Arabic speaker fluent in English, Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and Yemeni Arabic, she holds a Master’s Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies from the American Military University and leads Maroy’s professional training programs as their author and head trainer.

A New York State licensed Private School Teacher and Certified Healthcare Interpreter (Arabic–CHI), Howeida has trained more than 200 bilingual professionals and healthcare staff in medical interpretation. She previously served as an Arabic Adjunct Professor at Wagner College, where she developed academic programs in Arabic language and Middle Eastern Studies.

In addition to her academic work, Howeida has served as a language proficiency tester and target language expert for ACTFL and the U.S. Department of Defense since 2009. Since 2024, she has expanded her expertise into AI linguistics, working as an AI Trainer, LLM Reviewer, and multilingual data annotator focused on Arabic localization and linguistic quality assurance. She currently serves as a Federal language consultant and Arabic linguistic QA specialist.
